Gatwick is south over Vauxhall or Chelsea Bridge, then the A23 through Brixton, Streatham and Croydon to the M23 — around the hour on a normal day, and the drive is more predictable than it sounds because the A23 is a wide road for most of its length. Heathrow goes the other way along the Embankment or the Cromwell Road to the A4 and M4.
London City is east past the Palace of Westminster and along the Embankment to the Limehouse Link, usually the quickest airport from here in the morning and slower than expected in the afternoon.
Around the station, the one-way gyratory and the coach station make stopping difficult, and the roads immediately outside are frequently full. For a pickup we will normally agree a nearby corner or your hotel entrance rather than the station forecourt.
