Seven vehicles, from a saloon for two to an eight-seat minibus, plus executive cars and a chauffeur-driven Mercedes. Every one of them is quoted on the same fixed fare — consistently among the cheapest in the market — so you can pick on space and comfort rather than guessing at a meter.

The right vehicle is usually decided by luggage rather than by seats. Four people fit in a saloon; four people with four 23kg suitcases do not. Below is what each vehicle holds and the sort of journey it suits, so you can choose once and not think about it again.

The car most of our journeys go out in. A comfortable four-door with room for two standard 23kg suitcases in the boot, which covers the majority of couples, solo travellers and short-break luggage.

It is the cheapest way to travel with us, and our saloon fares sit among the lowest you will find, so on airport runs it is usually all you need — but if you are checking in more than two 23kg suitcases, take the estate instead and save yourself a conversation at the kerb.

Choose it for: one or two people with normal luggage, business trips, station runs, nights out and everyday local journeys.

Same seating as the saloon, roughly twice the boot. The estate is the quiet workhorse of airport and cruise transfers, because luggage — not seats — is what usually runs out first.

A family of four going away for a fortnight, or a couple joining a cruise with four 23kg suitcases: it all goes in without stacking cases on someone's lap. Golf bags, pushchairs and other oversized items depend on their size, so tell us at booking and we will confirm what fits.

Choose it for: up to four people with four standard 23kg suitcases, cruise embarkation and family holidays.

A premium saloon for when the car is part of the impression. Leather, a quieter cabin and a smoother ride, with the same four seats as the standard saloon.

It is the usual choice for collecting a client from the airport, moving directors between meetings, or a long motorway run where comfort matters more than the fare.

Choose it for: client collections, executive travel, and long journeys where you want a better seat for the miles.

Six proper seats, and a boot that takes three 23kg suitcases with all six on board — or four suitcases if you travel five up. The MPV is the answer whenever a group is too big for a car but too small to justify a minibus.

Worth knowing: seats and luggage compete for the same space in any people carrier. Six passengers plus six 23kg suitcases will not fit — if that is your group, look at the 8-seater.

Choose it for: six travelling with three 23kg suitcases, five travelling with four, families with a child seat or two, and small work teams.

The largest vehicle we run: eight seats and eight cases, so for once nobody has to choose between people and luggage.

It saves splitting a group across two cars, which means one fare, one driver and one arrival time rather than two of everything.

Choose it for: seven or eight passengers, group airport runs, stag and hen travel, sports teams and large family trips.

It is what we send when a group needs the comfort of the executive car without splitting into two vehicles — a board travelling together, or a family who want the extra room on a long transfer.

Choose it for: groups up to six who want executive comfort, corporate travel, and longer journeys with luggage.

Our flagship car, with a chauffeur rather than a driver. Used for weddings, events and the journeys where arriving well matters.

You can book it as a normal fixed-fare journey, or hire the car and chauffeur by the hour when you need it waiting between stops — a wedding day, a round of meetings, an evening out. For hourly hire, give us a call so we can plan the timings with you.

Choose it for: weddings, corporate events, VIP collections and any occasion where the car is part of the day.

Capacity at a glance

Suitcase figures are for standard 23kg checked suitcases. Hand luggage and soft bags will usually go in on top. Golf bags, pushchairs, ski bags and anything else oversized depend entirely on their size, so tell us what you are carrying when you book and we will confirm the right vehicle.

Child seats are available on request, subject to availability — please ask when you book. Every vehicle is driven by a licensed private hire driver, and every fare is fixed before you travel.
