Airports

Every UK airport, and we keep an eye on the flight

We cover thirty-one UK airports — the London five, the regional hubs, and the ones most operators will not quote for. Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City are our daily runs; Southampton, Bournemouth, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and the rest are booked just as easily.

The fare is agreed when you book and does not change afterwards. Once you give us your flight number we track it, so if you land early or sit on the tarmac for an hour, the driver moves with the flight and the price stays where it was.

  • Fixed fare quoted before you book, including airport entry charges — among the cheapest you will find for UK airport transfers
  • Flight tracked from your flight number, with the first hour of waiting after landing included in the fare — waiting beyond that is charged
  • Meet and greet inside the terminal is an optional extra — add it at booking and the driver waits in arrivals with a name board; otherwise they call you once you have landed
  • Child seats available on request, subject to availability
  • Booked around the clock, including early-morning departures

Cruise ports

Ship to airport, airport to ship, home to quayside

Southampton is on our doorstep, so cruise work is a large part of what we do. We run to Ocean and Horizon terminals, plus Dover, Portsmouth, Tilbury and the other UK passenger ports, and we know which gate each ship berths at.

Cruise luggage is the part most people underestimate. Two people sailing for a fortnight rarely fit in a saloon, so tell us how many cases you are taking and we will put you in the right vehicle rather than a car you have to argue with at the kerb.

  • Timed around your embarkation window, not a guess at the traffic — and priced to undercut the big booking platforms
  • Estate, MPV and 8-seater options for four to eight standard 23kg suitcases
  • Book the return leg at the same time and it comes at a discount
  • Airport-to-port and port-to-airport transfers on one fare
  • Fly-cruise itineraries handled end to end

Local journeys

The everyday runs, priced the same way as the airport ones

Not every journey starts at a terminal. We are booked all day for the ordinary things: the station, a hospital appointment, a restaurant, the school run, a night out where nobody wants to drive home.

The difference from a metered cab is that you know the price before you get in. A short local hop is quoted the same way as a two-hundred-mile transfer — agreed up front, unchanged by traffic, roadworks or the time of night.

  • Fixed price on short journeys, not a meter that climbs in traffic — among the lowest local fares around
  • Around our Basingstoke, Southampton and London bases, and the towns between them
  • Account and repeat bookings for regular runs
  • Same licensed drivers and vehicles as the airport work
  • Available 24 hours, including early mornings and late nights

Long distance

Any distance, at a price agreed before you set off

Cross-country journeys are where a meter hurts most, so we do not use one. Southampton to Edinburgh, London to Cornwall, Heathrow to the Lake District — you get one figure before you book, and that is the figure you pay.

Long runs are quoted on the actual route, so a driver has no reason to take the scenic way round. We also plan the vehicle around the distance: on a five-hour run, legroom and boot space matter more than they do on a twenty-minute hop.

  • One fixed price for the whole journey, however long the road takes — our long-haul fares are consistently among the cheapest in the market
  • No meter, no peak-time surge and no charge for sitting in traffic
  • Quoted on the real route, not an estimate padded for safety
  • Larger vehicles for the distance, with proper luggage space
  • One-way or return, anywhere in the UK

Business

An account, an invoice, and one less thing to chase

If your company moves people regularly — staff to the airport, clients from the station, teams between sites — paying by card on every trip becomes an admin job nobody wants. A Minicabees account replaces it with a single monthly invoice.

You can book on behalf of someone else, so a PA arranges the car and the passenger simply gets the driver details. Every journey appears on the statement with the date, route and who travelled, which makes it straightforward to code to a cost centre or rebill a client.

  • Monthly invoicing instead of paying trip by trip, on rates that stay among the most competitive for regular business travel
  • Book on behalf of staff, visitors and clients
  • Itemised statements showing date, route and passenger
  • The same fixed-fare pricing as personal bookings
  • Airport, cruise, local and long-distance journeys all on one account

Chauffeur

A chauffeur-driven car, by the journey or by the hour

For weddings, events and executive travel we run the luxury end of the fleet with a chauffeur: a Mercedes S-Class for one or two passengers, or a Mercedes V-Class when the party is larger. The driver is suited, the car is prepared, and the timings are yours.

There are two ways to book it. Take it as a single journey and it is priced like any other transfer, with the fare fixed before you travel. Or hire the car and driver by the hour, which suits a wedding day, a set of client meetings or an evening where you need the car waiting between stops.

  • Mercedes S-Class for chauffeur work, Mercedes V-Class for larger parties, at some of the most competitive chauffeur rates around
  • Book as a normal fixed-fare journey, or by the hour for a block of time
  • Weddings, corporate events, days out and executive travel
  • Multiple pick-ups and waiting time arranged in advance
  • Call us for hourly hire so we can plan the day properly
