Heathrow is reached from junction five or six of the M4 and then junction four, or along the A4 Bath Road for the northern side of the airport. Terminals two and three go through the central tunnel; terminal five is signed off the M25 and is usually the smoothest approach; terminal four sits on the southern perimeter and is the one most often mistaken for the others.
