Royal Caribbean Southampton Cruise Transfers

Cruise passengers usually travel with more than airline luggage, so tell us the case count when you book. A saloon takes two large cases, an estate or MPV considerably more, and an eight-seater suits groups with full cruise luggage.

Call or email us with the new terminal and we will change the booking at no charge. Changing the drop-off point within Southampton does not alter your fixed fare.

Terminal allocation in Southampton is made per sailing rather than per cruise line, so it varies between departures. Check the terminal printed on your boarding pass, issued when online check-in opens roughly 21 days before you sail, and tell us when you book.

Royal Caribbean asks you to arrive within the time slot you select in the Royal App. Check-in should be completed in the app at least three days before, or at the pier a minimum of two hours before the published sailing time, and all guests must be checked in and aboard no later than 90 minutes before port operations close.

Ocean and QEII are in the Eastern Docks via Dock Gate 4. Mayflower is via Dock Gate 20, City via Dock Gate 8 and Horizon via Dock Gate 10, all in the Western Docks. We set the gate from the terminal you give us.

Yes. The port allows private hire vehicles to drop off directly outside each cruise terminal, and there is a taxi rank outside each terminal for arrivals.

Royal Caribbean lists City Cruise Terminal as the usual berth for Southampton sailings, with Horizon Cruise Terminal used on selected dates. Because it varies, check the terminal on your boarding pass rather than assuming — and tell us, so we use the right dock gate.

Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice to be eligible for a refund, and refunds are subject to a £7 or 10% administration fee, whichever is higher. No refund is issued where notice is under 24 hours, or where the passenger does not show up. To cancel, email or call us and wait for written confirmation; until you have that, the booking still stands.
