Those journeys are often for people who are not in a state to walk far, so tell us when you book and the driver will get as close to the entrance as the site allows.

Local journeys around Oxford

Shorter fixed-fare work runs out to Abingdon, Kidlington, Witney, Bicester and Woodstock, along with Bicester Village, Blenheim Palace and the Cotswold villages west of the city. Station transfers to Oxford and Oxford Parkway are common at both ends of the day.

Roads in and out of Oxford

The A34 handles everything north to south and is the fastest way to the M4 and on to Southampton. The A40 and M40 take you east towards High Wycombe, London and the M25, and north-west to Cheltenham. The ring road is the city's pressure valve and also its main bottleneck — the Botley and Headington sections slow badly at peak, and the Eastern Bypass can add twenty minutes without warning.
Oxford also runs traffic filters and a Zero Emission Zone across parts of the centre. Where any charge applies to your journey, it is already inside your fare rather than added afterwards.
