Taxi from Mayfair route details

Heathrow is reached west through Hyde Park and along the A4 to the M4, or round the Cromwell Road when the park route is busy. Before about seven in the morning it is a genuinely quick run; in the evening peak the A4 through Hammersmith adds half an hour or more, and we set the pickup accordingly rather than hoping.
Gatwick means south across the river and down the A23 to the M23, or round the M25 from the west when central London is gridlocked — the choice is made on the day. London City is east through the City and along the A13 or the Limehouse Link, usually the quickest airport run from here and the one most often underestimated in the afternoon.
Mayfair itself is the other consideration. The streets between Berkeley Square, Grosvenor Square and Park Lane are a tight one-way grid with strict parking, so telling us the exact address and any porter or side entrance saves time at pickup.
