West to Heathrow the route is the Cromwell Road, the A4 through Hammersmith and the M4 — the most direct airport approach any central district has. Early in the morning it is forty minutes; in the evening peak the Hammersmith flyover section can add half an hour on its own. We time the pickup from the hour of the day rather than the mileage.
