Going west, the route is the Limehouse Link and the Embankment, or the A13 and the north side of the City, and from there the A4 and M4 to Heathrow. Gatwick and Stansted both leave the wharf in a different direction — south through the Blackwall or Silvertown tunnel for one, north east on the A12 for the other.
